It Began at Berry

A fourth place finish was fuel for a Fire, which was lit in Rome, GA on Sept 9th when the ladies had the best overall Team Average, 20:48, besting all of the days winning teams and running without 2 of the teams top 7 runners.

Winning Became a Habit

                     

The ladies found themselves at the top of the podium for the remainder of the season.  Placing first in every race after Berry, excluding the Last Chance Inv where the girls placed 2nd, even running at half effort.

Lady Hoyas Win 1st State Championship

Adversity is the middle name of a Lady Hoya Cross Country runner.  A day after 2 members of the team were in a car totaling accident, the girls came through with their best race of the season defeating powerhouse Brookwood by 37 points.
